McCauslin Brook Golf Course is a Public 18 holes golf course located in Lakewood, Wisconsin.
McCauslin Brook Golf Course first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Martin Garrity and Don Bartels, Sr.
This scenic course is surrounded by the Nicolet National Forest. There is a half mile airport runway on the course that comes into play. In addition, water hazards come into play on several holes.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 5926 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4886 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 508 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 15, a 508 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 4, a 170 yard par-3.

I play this course at least twice when I visit my friend's summer place in Lakewood. Course layout has some surprises for those who have not played it before. Combines both opportunities for the boomers off the tee as well as the finesse players. Only downsides to the course is the swarms of knats in the air (there weren't any this time) and they could do more with the menu and the bar service. Overall a good value and I look forward to playing it again.
